Summary: In 2012, I was honored to speak at The Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability Launch Event at San Francisco State University. The Longmore Institute was started by my friend, historian, and disability advocate, Cathy Kudlich.
I was humbled and honored to receive this award in 2012 from President Barack Obama’s White House.
